WANT TO BOOK A FLIGHT PERO WALANG CREDIT CARD?
Hey mga lakwacherong buddies! Now a days, we all know that seat sale is one of the quickest thing that everyone has been waiting for! Yung tipong, kakaalam mo pa lang, wala nang available seat!
What's worse is, may nakita kang sale, it says "4 seats left", and you can't book it kasi you don't know if makakaabot ka ba sa payment cut-off. PHEW! That's such a killer para sa ating mga katawang lupang gigil na gigil gumala, dava?!

What is PAYMAYA?
Paymaya is a free app that gives you a virtual Visa Card that you can use to shop online, book flights, and more, even without a credit card. Just download the app, load up, and shop! (source: PayMaya website)
It is a virtual card which means that everything is being processed/used over the web. Now a days, people are being reliant on the internet. Online purchases and flight bookings via the web has been rampant but there are still some people who are incapable of doing such transactions just because they don’t have any Visa nor MC card. So, for us who don’t have those types of card, PayMaya’s existence is such a good news! We can now owl on CebPac’s page for that Pisofare sale! Hoooray!!
Another good thing is, PayMaya has a physical card that can be used for purchases here in the PH and abroad! See? We can now be sure that after hitting that “Book a Flight” to HK, we don’t need to worry on where we can store our pocket money as PayMaya is giving us a way on how to keep our money safe and on the go.
How to use Paymaya?
Just like your other cards, may it be credit or debit, Paymaya has its own 16-digit card number, expiration date, and 3-digit security code.
If you don't have the actual card yet, you can always check these info on the app so you don't really need to have the actual card if your sole purpose is for online transactions, but if you're planning to go beyond online shenanigans, like using Paymaya for your savings, or you wanna go money-less shopping then getting a physical card is a must.
Also, just like your cards, Paymaya should have funds in it before you can use it.
Loading your Paymaya account is actually easy because there are several ways on how to load it.
1. Thru SM Business Center - this is free of charge. They'll give you a form, fill in your details including your registered mobile #. Don't forget to bring 1 valid id.
2. Thru SMART/PLDT Business Center - this is also free of charge. They have this digital kiosk for payments. There's an option there to load your Paymaya account, i think its under "e-money".
3. Thru 7-11 - This is one of the easiest, i could say, since 7-11 stores are everywhere, and they're open 24/7. Just pray that their loading kiosk is working 24/7 too. This is also free of charge.
4. Thru SMART PADALA loading stations - This actually depends if they offer Paymaya loading. Don't hesitate to ask them first, but usually, they have Paymaya logo if they offer this service. Charge rates may vary.
Everytime you reload your account, or you do transactions/payments, you will receive a text notification real time. :)
Kindly visit Paymaya's website for the full details about this card as there's actually a lot of things that you can do. Loading your/other mobile number, and paying utility bills are just some of the features that this card offers.
TBH, i haven't used Paymaya in booking flights yet because I have been using my Paymaya in sponsoring posts for my online shops.
